I am a recent Texas Tech graduate from the Human Development & Family Studies program. During my time at Texas Tech I was a Teaching Assistant for Family in the Community. The class focused on laws and policies as well as community development and how it impacts families. I was a member of the Phi Upsilon Omicron Honor Society during which time I volunteered regularly at the Inside Out Foundation in Lubbock, TX. I also minored in Addictive Disorders and Recovery Studies. In my last semester of college I completed a 90 hour unpaid practicum at the Covenant Neuroscience Institute in which I shadowed the Occupational Therapists and helped them with tasks as needed. My ultimate goal is to become an Occupational Therapist and I am working towards getting into OT school.
