Manufacturing executive with extensive experience in leading workplace transformations and achieving impressive results. Later at Masco Corporation, I had the opportunity to participate in the Toyota Supplier Support Center (TSSC) school and work with Toyota personnel on a Lean transformation project in my Elkhart, IN manufacturing facility. This skillset and knowledge-base have allowed me to continue applying these principles in various environments and has given me a much deeper understanding of TPS over the course of my career. Lastly, working with the former director of employee development from Toyota - Georgetown, KY on various consulting engagements has given me a unique perspective on the human side of Toyota. This is the area of Lean transformations that most people miss, focusing solely on the tools. I have also received extensive training and experience in leading and developing strong teams and have been able to inspire and motivate my teams to achieve outstanding results.

Mr. Tandy is formerly the Vice President of Manufacturing for Milbank Manufacturing Co headquartered in Kansas City, Mo. Tandy had direct responsibility for all manufacturing operations at the company’s three manufacturing facilities, located in Kansas City, Mo., Concordia, Mo., and El Dorado, Ark. Tandy also was responsible for EH&S, continuous improvement support and tooling support resources company-wide. As part of Milbank’s Executive Management team, he helped establish the company’s strategic direction for the organization as a whole as well as manufacturing operations. He was an integral part of the Lean initiative.
