Drafted out of Sacramento City College in the 10th Round by the Montreal Expos, Trace played 12 seasons of professional baseball, making his Major League debut in 1999. As an infielder, he went on to play with the Cleveland Indians, Detroit Tigers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Miami Marlins, Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox.After retiring from Baseball, Trace had the vision that heating and air conditioning products could be sold via the Internet.
