This was a challenging and innovative testing programme which was fast paced and required regular modifications to the service at short notice, which were all implemented within the requirement timescales. This was superseded with another contract bid for Phase 3 of the Project which was successfully tendered for.Bid Management/Contract Implementation –Led and successfully project managed the bid proposal process and implementation of a new contract awarded with Morecambe Bay NHS Trust for the movement of Class 6.2 infectious substances. This required a rapid implementation of 1 month from contract award. This was completed on time during the first COVID-19 national lockdown, negotiating KPI’s with new client and dealing with all financial and operational aspects in relation to the service. Automation/Process Improvement - Developed an electronic version of the scheduled work/ planning wipe board in Excel, which has been implemented and developed further with colleagues using a dedicated computer with interactive screen. This has saved administration time and improved visibility of management and commercial information. Implemented electronic CSV files for mass upload of orders to save administration time, reduce errors and improve data integrity.Bid Documentation/Customer Reporting – worked with clients to successfully obtain client references and compiled case studies to support tender bids. Improved company documentation and content material for use in tender submissions and developed customer reporting documentation for sharing of management information. This has resulted in an improvement in the quality scores obtained in tender bids and assisted with winning new contracts with DHSC, Kuehne and Nagel and NHS Trusts.
