A recent graduate of Business Administration- Human Resources Management I bring additional extensive managerial experience in the Human Resources sector. As part of my ability as a leader I was also cognizant of when it was appropriate to allow someone else to lead. As a general manager, I was solely responsible for all facets of Human Resources including recruitment and selection, training and development, and employee evaluations. Creating job descriptions and posting, monitoring where and how positions were posted, I assessed the caliber of candidates by conducting comprehensive interviews. My role included all orientation, onboarding, training and development, and employee evaluations, establishing and maintaining employee files from the beginning of employment through to departure, as well as time and attendance management and payroll information processing and submission. I also possess excellent knowledge of employment acts/regulations and health a safety protocols.A true people person, I feel I offer the best of both worlds as a recent graduate and an experienced professional. My newly acquired Business Administration -Human Resources Management education included courses in Recruitment and Selection, Compensation and Benefits, Accounting, Training and Development, Business Communications, Health and Safety, Inclusivity and Diversity as well as various Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Forms and Planner. A value I bring to the workforce as well as my everyday life is patience. Interacting with a multitude of different people with a variety of needs or requirements, under stressful situations and being able to process, as well as know how to appropriately respond in a calm and reassuring manner is an important value I have learned in the many years I have been in the workforce.
