Devising and delivering courses in Book and Paper Arts.At West Dean College my short courses have included:Make a unique Journal.Embossing and paper laminating.Maps and journeys- make a unique artist’s book.

This role involves devising and delivering ‘upcycling’ workshops with both adults and children where participants can make something to take away from the vintage programmes and music scores which are no longer required by the Opera House. Workshops have included a ‘bug in a box’, folktale cards, paper flowers and paper masks.

Book Art Workshops.As a visiting lecturer I devised and delivered workshops with students in their first year of study. The workshops explored both the concept and craft of creating a handmade book, and is the ideal project from a cross curricular course as students can adapt the content. Many students went on to include book art into their final major projects in year 3.
