I am an experienced arts writer and editor, a dedicated fine arts educator and an award winning artist. I have a diploma in jewellery design, an undergraduate degree in art history-theory, a MFA in sculpture and a PhD in contemporary art. In 2021, I had a solo exhibition at the Casula Powerhouse as part of winning the 2018 Blake Prize Established Artist Residency. Other recent residencies include the Moya Dyring AGNSW studio at the Cité in Paris, Hazelhurst Regional Arts Centre and Fairfield City Museum and Gallery. I have exhibited widely, both nationally and internationally and have undertaken several international residencies including at the Australia Council studio in New York, and the Nelson Polytechnic in New Zealand. My work has been published in numerous art and design magazines and including Art Guide Australia, Art Collector, Cartographic Perspectives (USA), and the peer reviewed academic journal Open Cultural Studies (Germany).

If there is anything that links all my disparate bodies of work it is my desire to convey meaning through a careful choice of materials and meticulous (often tedious and usually skilled) labour-intensive work. For the last decade, my overarching theme has been a critique of the Enlightenment notion that man can and should control nature.
