Operate heavy earth mooving equipment, mentor, assist team members, support new commers, shift work from 5/2 to 7/7 night and day shifts, be available when required, find accommodation when required, demonstrate safe and reliable work ethics, complete work instruction in required time frame.

Cleaning draglines, shovels, excavators, drills for swing days, maintenance down days and shut downs. Travel to SWC, Coppabella, Newlands, Cavil Ridge, Blackwater, Dawnia for these jobs. Liaise with on site super intendants, supervisors for scope of work. Negotiate with maintenance contractors and crack testers to prioritise order of work and deligate crew members for specific tasks ie. Confined space, working at heights. Compile JSA's, CS Permits, WAH Permits for work tasks. Maintain workplace health and safety ie. Drop zone barricading, correct disposal of hazardous substances, housekeeping, gas monitoring, positive communication, SLAM's, returning work areas to original state, closing work permits for end of shift change over.

Organise and support 15 trainers 50 crew, updated training matrix, site inductions, sop &swi reviews & audits, train & assess, work with content experts, supervisors, oce's to sorce all requirements, operate when required
