I have lived a versed life, being a person who loves adventure and opportunity...I stumbled across Pole as a sport whilst living in the Canary Islands, running a Motocross & Enduro Rental Business with my husband. I had no idea that the sport existed, walking into the studio 'too see what they do inside' was possibly one of my finer moves. Coming from a gymnastics, dance and sporting background, reached expert level within 6 months, we had moved on, and I opened my own studio in Western Australia. What started out as 5 poles - 10 years later, in 2019 I sold the largest aerial studio in Western Australia, 300 sqm, comprising of 12 qualified instructors, teaching a diversity of aerials. During the 10 years, I gained qualifications in Sports and Paediatric Nutrition, Directed 7 SWA Pole Comps. Author of 6 books, in performing aerials in 2 disciplines, these still sell to-date. Besides training in the circus to improve my own skills, I enjoyed Judging Nationally and Internationally, including an honorary position to judge at the IPC (world championship) & IPC Head Judge in 2018.I was sponsored my Master Level from the IPDFA in 2012 and began to train and qualify instructors on behalf of the IPDFA. In 2016 I was elected as Vice President and I took over the IPDFA PolePro Courses and to date passionately drive the exploding industry to get qualified. I have a team of 9 Master Trainers around the globe and the courses are available in 4 languages, both online & live qualifications available. The IPDFA PolePro Instructor Courses are known as 'The Most Comprehensive Courses in our Industry' and are accredited by sought after sports organisations.In 2019 I was selected to Direct the World Championships, I happily took on the challenge, and decided to bring the Championship to my home town, Cape Town, to be hosted at the CTICC 20/11/20.In 2020 I took over the IPDFA as President. I am passionate and I am driven and I never stop trying to achieve more. I thrive on living with a goal in my vision & a challenge ahead of me. Without these to drive me, I might as well not be alive. Prior to the Motocross Business, I worked on Luxury Yachts, as a chef, travelling the globe for 6 years. I worked in Print Marketing for IATA, focusing on their internal & industry magazines. Prior to my travels, I was National Brand Manager of SMINT, a mint, a Brand, a marketing dream, working at a fantastic company, JMC Melnicks, with an amazing bunch of people, I had started out working in promotions, for Red Bull where I learnt the essence of marketing and true vision.
