I am currently employed at GBM a busy print company where I work alternate shifts. My day to day duties involve ripping in jobs on onyx, and caldera, sizing, occasionally colour correcting to match specific colour pantones if necessary. We operate a system called Optimus where we are all able to track each job at different stages in the print process. I operate on a daily basis the jeti 3150 uv flat bed and the oce 350 XT also a uv flatbed printer. A new addition to the company has arrived, we now have an extremely fast new trupress w3200 Hs uv flatbed, wow this is such an impressive high quality machine, we can pint up to the size of 10x5's in a matter of minutes with the White ink option too, I love this machine it's so user friendly, fast and the quality is great. Equally amazing though are our 2 reliable 2.5x3050 Oce 6170 xt uv flatbed printer, which is so user friendly. This is great machine which produces some stunning vibrant images. We now have another addition to our printers we all love the Oce Colorado, which is run all day long, producing stunning vibrant vinyl prints, banners etc such a lovely printer to use, which doesn’t need constant monitoring, congratulations Oce love this baby. We have a new addition to our machines it is the jetrix 3200 roll to roll led printer, such a user friendly machine, which has virtually the least amount of morning start up procedure I’ve known on any machine, produces vibrant colours and is a great asset to our work force love it, great easy machine to use ,couldn’t believe the machine and quality for the price. I started work at evolve in sept 2001 as a finisher, laminating, weeding vinyl, trimming etc. the following year jazz graphics was established and I was transferred over to the digital print which I love. I was sent over to nur in Belgium where I did a weeks training on the tempo. A hybrid flat bed/roll to roll uv machine. I then had training on the nur fresco, a solvent 3.2 roll to roll. Experience then moved on to Expedio 3.2 u.v roll to roll machine. I was lucky enough a few years later to have the opportunity to travel over to Canada to train with gandinnovations on the 2030 a large 2 x3 flatbed uv machine, the 3150 (3050x1500 uv flatbed) and also 3324 solvent 3.2 roll to roll and the aqua jet a 3.0 dye sub machine. I currently still operate the Gandi 3150, uv occasionally the vutek 3.2 and the oce 350 XT uv flat bed at my current place of work at GBM
