This middle management position is responsible for delivering results in a home store while at the same time providing support, coaching, accountability and driving results in six other stores in northern Alberta. Reviewing and distributing daily, weekly and monthly reports. Responsible for the performance management of human resources, Maintaining non-negotiable operations and standards and overseeing store leader training and development.

Developed time lines, critical paths, communication and operational plans for all elements of events, projects, and sponsorship opportunities for the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, Edmonton. Solicited contributions and participation from local business and individuals to promote and improve the financial success of community events and activities. Estimated and justified financial, staffing, facilities and equipment costs based on project needs and available resources. Oversaw all aspects and logistics of large events, monitored event budgets and costs to ensure expenses were within established parameters. Managed attendance numbers, seating arrangements, and maintained accurate records.

Developed and managed budgets and business plans for a variety of Annual Fundraising and Special Events. Included, but not limited to: direct mail; Golf Tournaments; Speaking Engagements; Workshops; Dinners; Auctions; Developed marketing and communication collateral materials.

Managed facility and team of 20 tutoring professionals. Directed strategic initiatives to achieve the mission of the organization: to provide specialized, individualized, multi-sensory approaches in developing proficiency in reading, spelling and math for children and adults with learning differences. Developed "Partners in Learning" sponsorship program that was rolled out to community stakeholders, businesses, government, service clubs and learning institutions. Ensured the Centre maintained a positive, visible and effective public image, accomplished through attendance at professional events, meetings and other functions.
