Provide administrative support for a busy rehabilitation outpatient clinic. Excellent customer care is key while assisting the clinic with patient scheduling, registration and insurance verification/authorizations. Communicating concisely with patients and therapists are also an integral part of this position.

After several years of working as a merchandising & sales managers I chose to explore my passion for serving people in a different way. I took the role of administrative support team supervisor(human resources generalist & office manager combo position) in order to learn the basics of human resources and see if it was a career that was a good fit for me--it was! I enjoyed being able to assist employees with their needs and provide guidance and advice to the rest of the management team. My basic duties were: overseeing all hiring & onboarding of new employees, maintaining job postings and internal talent, facilitating annual enrollment, annual legal compliance and safety programs. In addition to my HR hat, I also enjoyed managing the busy executive office in which I was an indispensable partner to the store managers I served. Main office management duties included resolving all customer service issues, cash office duties, supply orders, event planning and other administrative duties for a store servicing 150+ employees.

Drove sales and margin in 11 stores by implementing merchandise execution strategies. Elevated store merchandise execution through hands on implementation and training in stores. Coached sales team drive improvement in selling through emphasis on building product knowledge, leveraging strengths of their team and outstanding customer service. Created ideas for in store events to drive additional footprints into the building. Strategic forward thinking for "what's next" trending theme. Collaborated on store floor plans keeping each store's customer in mind.

Managed merchandise execution and back of house operations at 2 different stores. Oversaw 15+ direct reports setting high expectations for them and leveraging their individual strengths to get jobs completed on time.

Drove sales for progressively larger areas of responsibility at 2 different store locations. Consistently increased sales and outperformed company trend every year by analyzing business weekly and quickly reacting to any issues. Identified and utilized associate strengths in order to build strong, stable teams that achieved results. Considered a strong, global leader and given more responsibility than most of my peers.

Advised undergraduates in The School of International Service on academic regulations, course registration, study abroad programs, internships, graduate schools and handling college life through individual consultations and group workshops. Organized and ran all transfer recruitment for the School and increased the retention in the Honors Program.
