In each place I sought opportunities to grow and find new challenges through volunteering. My greatest accomplishment has been to lovingly cajole my two offspring into fully functioning adults (final results not yet calculated).I believe that dreams are a sound foundation for investment and demonstrated this when I returned to university as a mature student to pursue a degree in Honours Linguistics, earning the distinction of summa cum laude. This has given me a solid scientific understanding of the underpinnings of language, enhancing my natural talent for social, academic and professional discourse.I work and play well with others, and dream of the opportunity to work for a socially conscious organization using my skill set for the community and global good, and applying my empathy and passion for human rights.
