Training and Development:To oversee and manage the training and development of 300 employees within the organization - raising training across a site of three hundred colleagues from 29% to 93% in the first yearTo identify the training needs of employees through monitoring of training, key skills gaps, talent spotting and mentoring for internal skills progression and to progress colleagues through the skills levels to enable them to reach their full potentialTo design and implement training programs that meet the needs of the organisation - from health and safety and basic skills through to technical skills training. Checking, updating and signing off thirty-six training documents and creating six new documents in the first 6 months.To evaluate the effectiveness of training programs by observing and measuring the impact on employee performance and ability to extend their role within the businessTo maintain accurate records of employee training and development, including tracking progress and ensuring 100% compliance with health and safety/site risk assessmentsTo work closely with business leaders, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure that training programs help to build a highly skilled and motivated workforce, to align with the organization's 10-year plan for progressionTo work as part of a national team of Training Advisors - raising standards and continuity across manufacturing sites.Floristry Advisor:One year secondment to the Floristry team - travelling around UK stores to train Florists and set up twelve new instore Floristry departments (2019-2020).Production Team Manager:Day to day management of a diverse delegation of colleagues, with differing cultures, nationalities, languages, ages and experienceManaging teams to meet Production KPIsConducting 1-2-1s, PDRs, Return to Works and DisciplinariesBuilding strong, respectful working relationships across all departmentsGood knowledge of Microsoft standard packages - Word, Excel and Power PointCreating and updating the organisation’s risk assessments and Manual Handling documentsFacilitating monthly Safety Action Team meetings - reporting to the Health and Safety managerSpecialising in training and development - working alongside the Training Advisor to support communication, update SOPs and advise on relevant Production processes.
