I manage a team of six full time staff and over 150 casual Security and Stewarding staff at venues and events across the South Coast, the main venues being The Bournemouth International Centre, The O2 Bournemouth, The Old fire Station, Southampton Guildhall, Portsmouth Guildhall and The Portsmouth Pyramids.Me and my team have developed the business, improving the service year on year that we provided to our clients.I have worked on many large scale events with some of the highlights being Bestival on the Isle of Wight and the Camp Bestival sister event in Dorset. The Pope's visit to Birmingham, The MTV Europe Music Awards in Belfast, World Pride, The Diamond Jubilee Concert and The Hyde Park Summer Series.

As Senior Operations Executive I looked after my venues in London and was a mentor for three Operations Executives.I also managed the South Coast venues The Bournemouth International Centre and Southampton Guildhall and Operations Executive.

During this time I mainly worked at the O2 Empire Shepherd’s Bush as the head of security, managing over 250 shows a year. I also managed events at Hammersmith Apollo, Royal Albert Hall and Wembley Arena.I also worked on a lot of large scale events as part of the Showsec management team with some of the highlights The Nelson Mendela Concert, Live 8, Download, The Hyde Park summer events, Earls Court Exhibition Centre concerts, The Brit Awards, Creamfields, Lowlands festival and the MTV Europe Music Awards in Liverpool..

Worked as a supervisor at a number of venues in London: O2 Empire Shepherd’s Bush, Hammersmith Apollo, Royal Albert Hall, London Docklands Arena, Twickenham and Wembley Arena. As well as a number of festivals.

Working at events and on doors at a number of venues.

Working at Gatwick Airport on flights to and from the USA. Checking documentation, guarding and searching planes, Searching staff and public and x-raying luggage.
