At Upper Coomera State College, I teach English and Humanities to students from Years 7 to 10, using engaging and inclusive pedagogical practices. I have been in the education sector for over eight years, starting as a contract and relief teacher for the Queensland Department of Education and Training in 2014.With a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a Graduate Diploma of Education, I am skilled at adapting to the diverse needs of my students. I apply trauma informed care principles to create a safe and supportive learning environment for young people who have experienced adversity. I also offer tutoring services to help students improve their reading and writing skills and achieve their academic goals. My mission is to inspire and empower my students to become lifelong learners and confident communicators.
