I have worked for a large number of years at Feilo Sylvania formally Havells, originally Concord Lighting Ltd.I started working as an Assembly Operator in 1989 and progressed through the company working as a Stores Operative, Data Input Clerk, Goods-in Administrator, Materials Controller then Supervisor in this position, after having some time off to start a family (the toughest job yet) I return to work and took up a part-time position as Purchasing Assistant then progressed to Junior Buyer in February of 2014 when I became full-time again.In 2014 I had the opportunity to make a slight career change and moved in to the Design Dept and took on the role of Administrator now in 2019 I have recently been promoted to NPI Engineer a role I was doing already but now I have been given the recognition I deserved and been given a new job title to boot, I still keep everyone in check, controlling all system changes for the manufacturing structures but now get more involved in the new project side of the business liaising with Product Line Managers and outside Design Studios to complete a smooth transition from concept to reality. This year I celebrate 30 years service at Feilo in as you can read a mixture of roles and continue to enjoy my work.
