The Mini Soda Salon at Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta is a complimentary salon experience for children in long term care at Childrens Hospital. My team provides needed services for kids such as hair cuts, shampoos, blow drys and styles, manicures, and braiding. We found that not only were these services needed for kids that spend months at a time in the hospital, but our Mini Soda Salon experience was a wonderful form of escapism. Many times the doctors and nurses at the hospital use our appointments as rewards for kids who are extra brave during their procedures, and physical therapy.
