After some extensive market research revealed that the online audience has an insatiable appetite for animal related video content, I launched Media Animal. TV- a digital video animal channel. I have travelled Australia and the globe and to date have produced 50+ short form educational and entertaining animal videos featuring everyday people doing extraordinary work with animals.Key Achievements: Media Animal TV’s content has been picked up by Yahoo 7, EPIC –a US educational children’s platform, A Children’s Hospital Network in America which also broadcast into elementary schools and a Podcast picked up by Southern Cross Austereo’s Podcast Channel..

Podcast One – Australia’s premier podcast platform reached out and asked if I’d write and create a Podcast based on the many animal stories I had covered over the years for my digital animal channel- Media Animal TV. The result was a heartwarming 8 episode documentary series called ‘We’re all Animals’. I established Media Animal to leverage and build on my extensive media career with a focus on securing high value television coverage. Work also included pitching and writing creative PR strategies for clients, also creating strong news angles to gain media coverage, pitching story ideas to print, radio ,online and television journalists, writing press releases, account management and talent management.Key Achievements: Developed strong story angles and personally pitched in to TV producers and achieved high value media coverage for clients. I was approached by the doyen of Australian media, Ita Buttrose to secure publicity for ‘Bark’, her newly launched magazine.Running the Australasian Curves (global women’s fitness franchise) Media Relations program and generating over $1.5 million worth of media coverage in Australia and New Zealand.
