A recent Creative and Professional Writing graduate (1st Class Honours) I am actively pursuing a new career in authorship and/or the publishing industry. I have a particular interest in children’s early literature and am currently developing a series of children's historical fiction books, aimed at 5 to 7 year olds, which synthesises literary skills and historical fact in a fun way that engages with National Curriculum requirements. Once complete, I hope to promote the books through in-school creative writing workshops. In addition, I also have ideas for numerous picture books. In addition to writing for children, I also enjoy creating short stories, particularly psychological and dark horror, as well as researching and composing non-fiction articles.
