Occupational Therapy Team Lead responsible for the coordination and supervision of therapy resources by providing training, mentorship, and career growth opportunities.Performed evaluations and assessments to recommend best treatment methods.Worked closely with Case Managers to efficiently coordinate and schedule Occupational Therapy Services. Worked closely with the Director of Therapy to help come up with creative marketing strategies and ways to decrease costs and helped to grow the caseloads of other Therapists, including Speech and Physical Therapy.Assisted Speech Therapy by providing services by aiding in creating mechanisms to help in positioning in activities such as feeding.Recommended a variety of developmental software applications to aid in activities to build skills in handwriting, fine motor, visual motor, executive functioning, and regulation.Thoroughly documented progress notes, evaluations, and patient treatment sessions in ProMedDa electronic documentation software.Helped train all incoming COTAs and Therapists on the ProMedDa software system.Responsible for the evaluation and treatment implementation of children birth-3 years of age as the lead OTR.
