As a naturopath clinician, medical herbalist, clinical nutritionist, diabetes educator, researcher and natural product formulator, I have been committed to, and actively involved in holistic medicine for the past 35 years. My board and advisory roles have contributed to tertiary university acceptance of the current Australian naturopathic medicine degree as well as government and insurance oversight. I have been an advocate of naturopathic codes of practice and professional and ethical standards. This is all born from my passion for effective, natural healthcare to be available for all. As an educator, over 30 years, at the Australian College of Natural Medicine (now Endeavour College of Natural Health) and the University of Queensland, I have directly contributed to the knowledge of many naturopathic and medical practitioners throughout Australia. I have a unique talent of being able to draw on my extensive clinical experience and incorporate learnings into ongoing clinical and product research and development. This has led me to roles as product formulator and/or research co-ordinator for numerous Australian and International nutraceutical companies including Heron Pharmaceuticals, Lipa Pharmaceuticals, Mediherb, Northstar Nutritionals, Biologic Health Solutions and my current company, Seipel Group. I have worked in the area of healthy aging most of my career and opened a new category for bladder control in the early 2000's, winning in 2006, a USA Nutrition Business Journal award for opening a new natural product category for bladder control. Mid-2018, research on my latest bladder formula won USA NutraIngredients Research Project of the Year, with multiple international awards to follow. I have gained multiple international patents for my formulations and am passionate about empowering individuals to improve their health and quality of life to live well, love well and age well.
