I have worked with Atkinson &Kirby since 2008 as an Internal/ external Sales Account Manager.I manage an account base of Timber Merchants, Flooring Contractors and Retailers as well as Architects and Designers.Predominantly Office Based Telephone Account Manager but also visit clients externally each month to build relationships and gain better understanding of their individual needs.Meeting customers daily requests matching & pricing our wide range of flooring products to their specific job requirements.Providing technical knowledge and advice on installation and maintenance of flooring.Pricing and managing roll out of larger projects.Promoting special offers and new products.Analysing sales reports and monitoring account activity and buying patterns.Organising and updating placement of display/ marketing materialsAttaining new business.I have also been involved with staff training and hosting customer training sessions externally to provide confidence through product knowledge.From the end of 2020 in addition to the Atkinson and Kirby products I also sold the Richard Burbidge product range (stair parts, decking accessories, mouldings) to my own customer base and also the overflow of calls from the client base South of the border.
