The primary purpose of this position is to provide a central service for the Management of the Contract formation and Purchasing functions for Anglo American Metallurgical Coal (AAMC).Job Functions and accountabilities:Provide a central service for AAMC to facilitate the management and formulation of all contract activity whether goods or services in accordance within the requirements of AAMC policies and governance and the agreed service levels.Manage the authorised Request… Show more The primary purpose of this position is to provide a central service for the Management of the Contract formation and Purchasing functions for Anglo American Metallurgical Coal (AAMC).Job Functions and accountabilities:Provide a central service for AAMC to facilitate the management and formulation of all contract activity whether goods or services in accordance within the requirements of AAMC policies and governance and the agreed service levels.Manage the authorised Request for Contract (RFC) process from receipt of request from the customer through to contract signing.Liaise with Category Managers and Specialists to ensure that existing contracts are fully utilised and new contracts are with preferred Suppliers where possible.Prepare the annual contracts plan for AAMC from the annual business plan and site input from Contracts Implementation teamManage Purchasing processes for Inventory, Goods and Services according to AAMC Governance requirementsProvide an Expediting service to assist with the Delivery in Full on Time of critical spares parts to OperationsManage the performance of Supply Services to targets set within agreed Service Level Agreements.Ensure correct utilisation of systems (eg Ellipse, Optimiser, Emptoris, Axis and Envoy) for recording, managing and reporting of activity and Supply Chain performance.
