Tracey was engaged in a new position designed to serve as a senior advisor for student council members primarily in external relations, educational leadership, strategic direction, management of student teams and student-led businesses.During the short engagement (the position was eliminated due to cost overruns during new building construction), Tracey reviewed and revised projects developed by her direct reports in the student services management team; Communications, Archives, Events, Sexual Assault Services & Policy.Tracey also was the prime driver for guiding, coaching and managing the services and governance operations Tracey's work included an extensive review and reporting on Student Services, Events, Communications, University and Government Relations, the Sexual Assault Support Centre and Archival Department. She dismantled two human rights concerns and sat on the design and review committee for the of the new building construction. She built better relationships with UBC, especially serving on the communications committee to stabilize student access for a looming professional staff strike in addition to serving the AMS with an executive review & research for a labour relations challenge of its own, Tracey feels her biggest success was the establishment of a long desired on-line voting portal; negotiating both financial and IT support from UBC.

Summary: Develop and promote a communications strategy. Serve as a resource to 34 Independent Community Futures organizations and their staff across BC. Developed and maintained procedures regarding project management and business strategy supports. Identify projects to support the Community Futures program and rural community economic diversification, write funding proposals, managing their funded implementation, and produce final project evaluation reports. Worked to minimize exposure and risk on projects. Applied project management methodology and designed then implemented a project evaluations matrix. Served as a board member and advisor for the Aboriginal Business Support Services Committee. Ensured federally-funded project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.Implemented on Small Business Internship Program placing 75 young adults in career-start jobs in 12 cities across BC.Organize and assist various committees and working groups to address issues identified by the Board and membership.Developed consensus within committees and other groups. Home for the Games was a web-based service matching Olympic Games visitors with Vancouver homeowners for home-stays. The revenue from these 'opportunities to connect' were channeled to funds with Streetohome and Covenant House; two top organizations working to reduce homelessness. Visitors and homeowners shared a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and took enormous pride in the knowledge that part of the 'rent' went directly to help some of society's most vulnerable.Core work surrounded product management of the custom platform; a homestay site with payment capacity (prior to AirBNB's general uptake). Also managed finance, fund-raising, volunteers and board governance.The success of the media and public relations campaign was incredible. At wrap up, we handed the platform and graphic design to a similar-minded organization in London to make the same impact in the 2012 Summer Games.

As the founder and Executive Director of the Co-operative Auto Network, Tracey created the business case, policy guides and framework for what is considered the first car sharing organization in the English speaking world. Her founding efforts, resulted in a very success, financial sound and vibrant organization that offers inestimable improvements in the environment, as well as positive quality of life and economic impacts for its members.The work itself required a high level of commitment, energy and hands-on involvement in all levels from planning through to maturation starting with just 2 cars in 1997 to 230 cars when she left in 2008. Tracey's role as lead investor and marketing director of this children's store. Bundles specialized in sourcing high quality, ethically made and Made in Canada products - in addition to the best of the Child Development sector as well. Tracey focused on the financial management and buying - but loved the creative time spent in display as well as extending our reach through social media and marketing. As a true believer in social responsibility, Tracey showcased the opportunity for local mom's to work with their children in a retail environment and hosted community groups, readings and forums.

In the role of Communications Officer at Fraser Basin, Tracey provided reception duties while supporting the work of every member of the staff and board. She provided in-depth research and referral about the work of the organization and the initiatives undertaken throughout the river basin itself to the staff, board members and general public.Tracey wrote content for reports and newsletters, developed and maintained the internal database, proofed copy, and maintained the website. She supported conference and event planning and kept current on grants and funding available for our participants and staff.Tracey also provided input and reviewed financial reports for accuracy.

For two years, Tracey taught English in Osaka Japan, while studying Aikido and the Japanese language. She traveled extensively in Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand and Cambodia prior to moving to live in Sweden.
