Teaching: Popular Culture in Media to Bachelor of Science degree seeking students. Part of team to create new course curriculum for Spring 2020 roll-out. Co-trained new faculty in department-2022. I am the president of this 501(c)(3) targeted towards integrating STEAM modalities(science, technology, engineering, arts and math) into event environments with a specialfocus that offers resources for families with children on the autism spectrum. I wrote the 501(c)(3) application packet, organized and ran board meetings, create bi-annual outreach events and educational symposiums. For the events I work as anexecutive director: securing contracts, locations, publicity, personnel, speakers, handling all payments and applying for grants.

Teaching: Fundamentals of Speech and Interpersonal Communication courses online andon-campus to degree seeking students. Learning Outcome Lead for Speech Communication: Attended and presented at multiple campus college wide dean's meetings, worked closely withInstitutional Effectiveness for strategies and implementation of tools for higher mastery ofskills and retention; and provided updated Xitracs assessment data, and end of year reportsfor Institutional Effectiveness’ SACS reporting. Facilitated data collection and reporting ofimplementation and assessment research from learning outcome leaders of various campuses that teach Interpersonal Communication and Speech Communication. Led and facilitated Assessment Day division wide meeting with faculty and Learning Outcome Leaders from all campuses. Co-created a 5-6 minute instructional video on audience analysis for the 2018-2019 intervention tool for speech assessment targeted for identified low performing populations; and conducted research on effectiveness of the video on student skill mastery. National Conference on Learning Assessment in February 2019. Service Work: Established and worked as faculty advisor of speech club for the Speech Department and hosted speech Competitions for local Toastmaster’s Clubs. 2018-2019 Professional Development: Speech faculty member of High Impact PracticesPeer Review for Writing Across the Curriculum. 2016-2017 -East Campus work: Reviewed and gave feedback on adjuncts submitted syllabi. Co-Learning Outcome Leader for Speech 2017 Assessment: Developed a 5-6 minute instructional video on verbal citation accessible through the college LibGuide for students to view and study. Conducted pre-and post assessment research to gauge effectiveness and implementation of material learned in video; and used results to determine what student demographics needed further resources. 2016 Professional Development: Faculty Mentorship and Digital Professor Certification.

Taught online courses of Broadcast Seminar and Print Broadcast Management to juniors and graduating seniors in the department of Language, Literature and Communication.

Taught television production, radio producing, scriptwriting for episodic television, public relations campaign, and media theory courses. Implemented PR campaigns with national non-profit organizations, mentored students and fostered corporate internships. Researched national grants for projects and presented research at national conferences.

Taught Human Communication and Public Speaking to continuing education students. My courses prepared students to engage in business etiquette and interpersonal relationships.

Taught Principles of Speech to upper class level students in classroom and online. Member of the staff development team for oral competency state model in speech. Developed curriculum for script writing course proposal and assisted in developmentof online version of public speaking courses launched in 2003. Taught Television Productionand Communication Courses to undergraduate and graduate students for the Mass Communication department from 2004-2006.

Traveled the country interviewing Christian celebrities for entertainment sectionof magazine. Supervised entertainment department sales people and coordinated “Back to School” fall festival and concert.

Taught Oral Communication to freshman and sophomores and Advanced Public Speaking and Creative writing to seniors. Developed and taught sequence of coursesfor Film/Script writing minor for Department of English and Fine Arts.

Researched and produced features for The 700 Club Marketing Department. Wrote and produced celebrity endorsements and worked as Assignment Manager for live internationally broadcasted telethons.
