CurrentTo help connect communities to drive out inequalities and secure opportunities for everyone in Norwich, and to bring visible, strategic leadership that convenes, challenges, disrupts and inspires local leaders whilst creating a robust, ambitious, and sustainable plan in partnership with the local community. Main Responsibilities / AccountabilitiesStakeholder engagement;Forming strategic relationships with senior representatives from business, local government, voluntary and community organisations, and industry bodies with the view of forming cross-sector partnerships.Rapidly develop a thorough understanding of the inequalities in Norwich from the perspective of all key stakeholders.Engage local businesses, local authorities, government departments, charities, Chambers of Commerce, and other potential providers to support and commit to invest (time, money, skills, knowledge) in driving lasting social change for Norwich. Engage stakeholders on key policy levers, such as Town Deals where relevant, working with the central BITC Place team to navigate.Business development;Identifying and securing financial support from business, local government, trusts, and foundations to enable action on priority issues and secure future sustainability of the project.
