Oversee daily operations of busy International Student Center of a community college supervising a staff of 6 employees, both full- and part-time. Responsible for the hiring, training and scheduling of student worker staff, managing the accounts receivables, the supply orders for the office and faculty center, contracts and payroll for both office staff and faculty, scheduling and presenting new student orientations 5 times per year, and development of office administrative policy.* Served as the Center’s lead on the District-wide software migration project from Colleague to Banner, working with the District personnel and Ellucian consultants to develop the system to meet the needs of the International Center and developing the training manuals for staff.Converted the new student application process from paper to online using Formstack, and started the process of using the new application process with Banner Document Management to turn the International Student Center into a paperless operation.* Worked with the Program’s new Director on the development of a new 5 year strategic plan and marketing strategy for the Center.* Other responsibilities included overseas recruiting, point of contact for all overseas recruitment agencies, Designated School Official for Homeland Security’s SEVIS system and student health insurance coordinator.

Provided clerical and administrative support to 9 academic departments within the College. Responsibilities included: preparation of part- and full-time faculty contracts, data entry, updates to course and room schedules, maintaining electronic filing system for departmental forms and documents (syllabi, letters, contracts, timesheets, book orders). *Developed an electronic filing system for department documents to supersede the paper/file cabinet system that was in place at time of hire.*Served on Program Review Committee for 2 years as a means of learning more about the College and worked with the team responsible for re-creating the College's Program Review/Planning processes. Was primarily responsible for the re-design of the Program Review form and documents.

Processed new student applications and created documents necessary for international student visa processing. Audited and maintained records for 1,000+ current and former international students and provided reports to the Department of Homeland Security based upon specific guidelines and deadlines. Conducted new student orientations, advising sessions, and wrote/maintained the International Student Handbook. Wrote/maintained the International Office procedures manuals.

Processed undergraduate applications for the university. Assisted in the campus call center, and as a liaison to the International Student Center to assist in the moving of newly admitted international applicants' documents to the appropriate international advisor for immigration document processing.
