As a closing manager my day to day responsibilities include managing a pipeline to ensure timely closings and fundings of a loan to meet TRID guidelines and company standards, working hand in hand with processing, underwriters and other professionals to ensure closing dates are met and train and guide closers to help improve their productivity.- Completing an audit of each loan prior to closing- Prepare draft closing disclosures - Act as a point of contact - communicate with processing, underwriting, loan officers and title companies.- Work directly with title companies to balance final closing statements prior to the disbursement of loan proceeds - prepares critical final loan documents for closing- guiding closers to help them work more efficiently
