About Tracey Fergus

Tracey Fergus is a School Governor at Waterside Academy. They possess expertise in project management, case management, action plan development, risk management, action plan creation and 4 more skills. Colleagues describe them as "Tracey has been supportive off the bat, Tracey as a leader always was available to help steer me back on track. I would come to Tracey with ideas and I mean a lot of ideas and not once has Tracey ever said no, she has always asked me to tell her more, made me analyse how this worked in practice and for the ones that made it, supported the ideas with structure where needed. For the past 2 years I have been studying alongside work and Tracey’s leadership ensured I had sufficient time to be on track and deliver my assignments and work KPI’s, at times you would think it was Tracey who was studying and had the deadlines for assignments as she would say “come on, when is the next one due? What are you doing? Okay let’s marry up the next work plans with your modules”😂😅.Honestly I as I come near the end of my apprenticeship I can truly say being in an environment where the opportunity didn’t exist based on the criteria of my role. Tracey really pushed and created pathways and opportunities that eliminated any barriers that existed to ensure I had as much material and practical experience as possible. Working with Tracey as my team leader never felt uncomfortable she always treated us equally and was someone whose leadership experiences you could learn from. A true gift to have as a manager, a colleague and a leader in the workplace. I generally can’t think of a time I have asked Tracey for a moment of her time whether personal or work related and she has said no. She has always been a pleasure to be around and work for/with. Thank you Tracey!" and "I have known Tracey since 2017 when I joined Haringey Works (previously known as HEST) as an Employment and Skills Officer. I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Tracey who was then working in a similar capacity as an Advisor and in general been serving Haringey Council since 2008. I have seen Tracey progressing her career amazingly well from Employment and Skills Officer to Senior Employment Advisor managing teams’ caseloads and being responsible for generating reports etc to further then being promoted as a Team Leader managing specialist advisers. Tracey is very creative, passionate, dedicated in her role and gives her 100% in what she does. The service has gone strength to strength with her contribution. She is resilient and has demonstrated great management skills. She has not managed me directly however I recommend she excels at supervising, guiding, and motivating other members of the team. She is a natural leader and problem solver, easily identifying and proposing solutions to any road bumps that the team hits along the way. She is also great at staying on task. She is amazing in partnership building and networking and has been working in collaboration with various stakeholders in Haringey and with other boroughs. Not only does she possess the leadership skills needed for a team leader, but she also has the behind-the-scenes skills managing and organising events for Teams and leading them well. A more dedicated team player and leader than Tracey could not be found!!. On a personal level, she is a buddy and a good friend. A good listener and empathetic. I wish to continue see her progression further :)"

Listed skills include Project Management, Case Management, Action Plan Development, Risk Management, and 5 others.
