I worked at Chubb for 19 years within the Marketing Communications department. I joined the European office in 1997 to create Chubb's marketing division from scratch. Over time, the department grew to include dedicated marketing professionals in many European countries.Responsibilities included internal and external communications, marketing planning, PR, the writing and creation of marketing materials, sponsorship & event management,Major highlights include negotiating and managing several sponsorships (the Salon Prive motor show, The European Fine Art Fair in Maastricht 'TEFAF' and the Windsor Horse Trials); implementing the first pan European brand identity for Chubb in 1998; and turning Chubb from a 'no comment' company to the go-to spokesperson in the HNW insurance field.

For the Nasdaq I managed the international PR programme (excluding N America), overseeing multiple PR agencies in Europe, South America and Asia. I managed the Chubb Insurance account for 1.5 years before being invited to join the company and create the marketing team in Europe.

Corporate Communications Manager for the PLC of the original Saatchi & Saatchi. Working within the Head Office for the global organisation, the role included managing media relations; corporate events; writing and production of the annual report; management of the AGM; production of key showreels and illustration of the company's expertise; fund manager liaison and events; creation of corporate documents and key shareholder items. Involved working with the Group's international divisions and liaising with the Chairman, Global Creative Director and Head of Investor Relations. A really varied and amazing role.

The team was responsible for analysing the company's performance and managed various projects e.g. the introduction of the first bar-codes into marketing/point of sale materials; the integration of newly acquired companies; the introduction of new technology to make cost efficiencies. I left to spend six months back-packing around Asia, New Zealand and Australia.
