I have been running several small businesses since 2000, one of which I sold as a going concern in 2009.Worked with Actinic/Sellerdeck ecommerce software since 2001, redesigning several sites both for our own use and, between 2008 and 2014, for clients.Knowledgeable in general ecommerce including payments and security.Recent acquired a working knowledge of ecommerce store design and management using Interspire Shopping Cart/Big Commerce.Co-director of Jesters Trick Bits, selling motorcycle parts and accessories both on our own website and on eBay.Involved in whole range of business-running activities, from website design and maintenance, stock management, dealing with suppliers, customer service both pre-sales and after, order processing, dispatch and post management.Moved family to Portugal in 2010 and spent 5 years living and working there, learning the language. Became a proficient blogger during that period (http://handsinportugal.wordpress.com)Returned to UK in 2015 and home educated both sons. Eldest passed GCSEs in 2016 and is in full-time employment as well as being a 100k-subscriber YouTuber earning money! Youngest returned to school in September 2017 to do GCSE years, and then automotive engineering at college. He is now a well-respected employee of a large, global sports equipment firm. Specialities: Interspire and Big Commerce site design and store management.Day-to-day business running, customer service, admin and accounts maintenance.Patient, methodical and quick to learn.
