Sydney Philharmonia Limited is a not-for-profit organisation which exists to celebrate and share the joy of communal singing, by presenting choral music for audiences at the highest standards of artistic excellence, both with key artistic partners such as the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and through its own programs. It also ensures the future of choral music through training and educating singers, musicians and conductors, by commissioning new works and devising innovative ways of presenting its repertoire.

Initially appointed as Group General Counsel & Company Secretary, I led a team of eight professionals in the areas of Legal, Company Secretariat and Risk and Compliance across complex, high profile transactions. As a member of the Executive Committee, I worked with other senior stakeholders to resolve legal issues and promote a culture of diversity and integrity across the business. Key achievements include:- Joint responsibility for the creation and listing of Charter Hall Long WALE REIT (ASX:CLW) in November 2016, initially being a seven way stapled entity, comprised of 66 properties valued at $1.32 billion. The project involved multiple related party transactions, and the creation of a new secretariat function for the CLW Board;- Key involvement in various securities placements, capital raisings and restructuring projects;- Streamlining the company secretariat function with designated personnel for entities within the Group, and standardising all aspects of board and committee papers and documents; and - Establishing the first external legal panel for the Group

As National Manager, Unlisted Property Funds, I had overall responsibility for the management of four unlisted retail funds with a range of commercial assets across four states, and one unlisted wholesale residential development fund with six projects in growth corridors in four states. As Senior Legal Counsel, I was the principal internal legal advisor to the Office and Industrial, and Funds Management businesses within Stockland.
