I've been communicating since I could open my mouth and hold a crayon. I am fanatical about language and have a deep appreciation for the perfect bon mot and a provocative metaphor. (It also excites me to find a typo on a menu). When it became obvious I couldn’t keep quiet or colour inside the lines, I channeled my creativity and storytelling talents into a career in communications. I am especially passionate about the power of effective communication in workplaces, and have spent the better part of the past 25 years helping leaders, managers and employees have better conversations. Whether the topic is performance, business strategies or change, excellent communication is critical to capture people’s hearts and minds – leading to higher engagement, productivity and business performance.
