Franchise owner of both Chicago locations located in the Loop (Palmer House Hilton) and Streeterville (Northwestern Memorial Hospital). How Do You Roll? (HDYR) was a franchise fast-casual sushi restaurant, headquartered in Austin, Texas. The first How Do You Roll? location opened in October 2008 and the company began franchising in early 2010. HDYR was acquired by a private restaurant group in June, 2015. As of April 2016, it had stores operating in California and Florida but had gone out of business by January 30, 2017. HDYR primarily offered made-to-order maki rolls. They offered different types of meats, fishes, vegetables, fruits, and fillings. Along with both white and brown rice, they also offered eight proprietary sauces and six toppings. In addition to rolls, HDYR also provided seaweed salad, cucumber salad, squid salad, edamame and miso soup. Some franchises carried tempura goods or local specialties, yet this practice was not universal. Their stated emphasis was on high-quality, fast and affordable food. To this end, HDYR used proprietary maki machines to mix the rice, press the rice, and cut the rolls. Customer feedback, according to the company, is what led to the introduction of provisions such as brown rice and sake.

Purr-fection The Cat Lover's Store (TCLS) was a cat-themed boutique catering exclusively to cat lovers. We carried fun, whimsical, and quality cat-themed decor, food, clothing, accessories, toys and supplies. The store opened in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood in 2004. In 2005, our physical location closed and we sold all of our products online until 2008.

Managed customer relationships and served as the lead architect for several IBM e-business web-hosting accounts in the financial, healthcare and telecommunication industries, including Washington Mutual, Bank of America, Moody’s Investor Services, CIGNA, AT&T Wireless and Sprint PCS. Designed custom web-hosting solutions based on customer requirements and specifications. Developed solutions based on knowledge and industry expertise. Responsibility included designing low cost, effective solutions which met the requirements as outlined by the customer. Photonic Materials Research & Development; Designed laser transmissions for optical networking and holographic data storage. Collaborated with scientists and other engineers to develop polymer-based holographic recording media. Analyzed optical and holographic systems for scatter reflections, stray-light, and other system noise sources. Calculated coherence lengths, fringing, and stability of laser diodes. Research concluded that GaAIAs red laser diodes are viable sources for low-cost holographic data storage
