Managing Practice Development Lawyer and solicitor (non-practising) with a wide remit ranging from innovation strategy and implementation, business planning, legal training and development, mentoring, writing (on construction law, dispute resolution and ADR) and contributing to Dentons' wellbeing initiatives. In summary, I: • act as an ambassador for innovation focusing on how lawyers and the construction industry combine new technology and fresh mind sets to adapt their working practices – both to improve service delivery and profit margins and to enhance employee wellbeing;• create and deliver training programmes for Dentons and Dentons' clients (working closely with Dentons' talent development and innovation teams);• mentor colleagues to support their development as lawyers and their career progression;• I am a member of Dentons' UK wellbeing committee and a Dentons UK mindfulness ambassador. I create and support training programmes to encourage lawyers and their support teams to adopt a more mindful approach to working to promote overall wellbeing;• am an accredited mediator and have a particular interest in mediation and other ADR procedures;• write extensively, producing commentaries and thought-leadership articles which are published regularly on Dentons' website as well as the monthly "state of play" legislation report for Construction Law;• write in the ADR column for Construction Law; and• have been recognised as a "readers' choice" top author by JD Supra for three consecutive years.
