I was the sole secretary in Nabarro's Tax department working for a team of eleven lawyers, including three Partners. I undertook extensive diary management, organised internal meetings as well as external conferences, and arranged travel and accommodation. I frequently used advanced PowerPoint skills to prepare complex diagrams and presentations. I was responsible for updating client contact lists on our business development database, as well as maintaining up to date holiday and contact lists for department members. I joined Nabarro as a float secretary and spent over a year working in all departments, getting to know each of the teams and becoming familiar with their work practices. I then spent two years as a PA in the Insolvency team before joining the Tax team over three years ago. I have extensive knowledge of a variety of different legal disciplines. I regularly provided pro bono secretarial support to the Islington Law Centre, a charitable organisation which offers specialist advice and legal services to the local community. I was the main point of contact and administrator for Nabarro's typing team, and I assisted with the typing of witness statements, correspondence and attendance notes.I was also a member of Nabarro's Health and Safety Committee which met on a quarterly basis, and I undertook Health and Safety training as part of this role.
