I have background advising clients in commercial, corporate and finance areas, and have acted for a number of large NZ corporates. This has lead to my role as Head of the Commercial team at Hamish Fletcher Lawyers.My legal pathway since being admitted in 2000 has seen me working at one of NZ’s largest banks, and then progressing to a national law firm where I provided advice to corporates, banks and other financial sector organisations. I then joined a large Christchurch firm heading its banking team providing advice to, and acting on behalf of, two NZ banks, as well as providing legal services to a number of large commercial clients.An extensive experience in advising both small and large businesses on governance, regulatory and consumer law matters, enables me to advise on a broad range of commercial matters, including drafting and negotiating a range of contracts; service, supply and distribution agreements; shareholder agreements and limited partnerships
