As a project manager for Village Engage—a nonprofit in Greenville, South Carolina within Mill Village Ministries—my job responsibilities included organizing and administering the program offerings from JustFaith Ministries. In addition, I help plan and produce events that focus on matters of racial, wealth, and income inequity in my community. I was also a member of the leadership team of the Community Remembrance Project of Greenville County, which partners with the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Alabama to memorialize the victims of racial terror lynching throughout the United States.

My job was to help Whole Foods Market Team Members and customers learn about the powerful benefits of eating a diet filled with delicious nutrient-dense, real food that emphasizes fruits and vegetables and also features quality proteins, whole grains and plenty of healthy fats. I taught healthy-cooking classes, did healthy-cooking demonstrations, conducted healthy-shopping tours of the store and cooked healthy meals for my fellow Team Members. In addition, I served as my store's TIME Committee Liaison, an exciting challenge that is immersed in the unique character of the Whole Foods Market brand and focused on bringing innovative ideas to life.

Supervised a team of Production Managers, Desktop Operators, Imaging Specialists, Proofreaders and Traffickers. Communicated extensively with clients and was held accountable for providing the highest level of customer service. Prepared and approved all estimates related to print projects for agency fees and expenses. Responsible for profitably delivering all jobs and in accordance with all client expectations. Made all decisions regarding selection of and purchasing from vendors including paper merchants, printers and prepress suppliers. Traveled regularly for press approvals. Member of the agency's Operating Committee and contributed to company management decisions regarding hiring and firing of employees and the establishment of company policies and procedures. I was hired to create the production department for the in-house agency of this high-profile, multi-brand fashion company. Oversaw every aspect of print production from photo shoots through final delivery of advertising, collateral, signage, packaging and catalog manufacturing. Purchased prepress, paper and printing for all company departments serviced by agency. Established procedures for supplying film separations that matched U.S. standards to international publications and printers. Managed team of production assistants.

I managed production, from concept through final production, of all projects on this agency's largest account (Samsung), including: print, broadcast and out-of-home advertising, packaging, POP and collateral. Responsible for estimating, scheduling and delivering all jobs profitably. Established procedures and standards for prepress operations and digital image management. Made weekly production status presentations to client and provided 24-hour customer service.

I was hired to run the production department of the high-end advertising/graphic design agency owned by Fabien Baron. Helped choreograph details on many fashion photo shoots conducted by Irving Penn, Patrick Demarchelier, Richard Avedon, Arthur Elgort and others. Coordinated every aspect of prepress operations and print production for advertising, collateral, signage and primary and secondary packaging design projects. Estimated and purchased offset web and sheetfed, letterpress and outdoor printing to meet client demands. Clients included: Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, Ian Schrager Hotels, Nars, Issey Miyake, Harper's Bazaar, Lanvin, Armani. Required to provide world-class customer service to all clients.

I coordinated and managed all advertising and editorial demands for the monthly, internationally circulated, pop-culture magazine founded by Andy Warhol. Determined schedules to meet newsstand dates. Handled separating and proofing of all artwork and photography, including images created by Bruce Weber, Juergen Teller, Steven Meisel, Steven Klein, Ellen Von Unwerth, Herb Ritts, Karl Lagerfeld, Richard Burbridge, Mario Testino, etc. Prepared all editorial pages for output to film. Inspected all page proofs for correct assembly. Reviewed monthly prepress and printing invoices for accuracy. Traveled extensively for press approvals. Communicated regularly with advertising clients and provided high-level customer service to major fashion accounts and luxury brands. Managed small team of production assistants.

I coordinated all advertising and editorial demands for layout and production of a group of weekly Philadelphia-area publications, including the manufacturing operation of a quarterly regional magazine. Helped convert a traditional typesetting and paste-up department to a desktop publishing workflow. Conducted all press approvals.

I handled general, daily newspaper production-assistant duties including traffic, typesetting, page make-up and processing advertising insertion orders.

I was responsible for producing weekly Martha's Vineyard Island newspaper by determining page count of each issue. Also managed every aspect of the classified ad section of the paper including customer service, traffic, layout, typesetting, paste-up and billing.
