Hello, I am the owner of Next Step Transition Center in Deer Park, Texas and Founder of 501 (c) (3) Skills, Transitioning and Employment Pathways to Success. NSTC is a day program for adults with disabilities. The program is designed to promote independence and community integration. NSTC has a structured daily schedule that includes math and reading skill reinforcement, training on independent living skills, pre-employment training, socialization, exercise, and recreation and leisure activities.S.T.E.P.S At S.T.E.P.S., we believe every person, regardless of their abilities, deserves the opportunity to share their individual talents with the world. Our first community-based training center gives young adults the ability to learn hands on vocational skills by volunteering in three separate operations:1. Our Shirt Shop2. Balloon Design Studio 3. Custom Engraving and Wood Cutting ShopYoung adults have the opportunity to go through the order process from receiving orders to order pick-up or distribution. The skills our young adults learn can be applied to all facets of their life and allow them to increasetheir independence.We strive to create the ideal environment for each one of our young adults, where they can grow in their vocational skills each day.I absolutely love working with and helping adults with disabilities. My main focus is to make sure the family is provided with information and services they need to assist with daily needs of the individuals.
