Chief Compliance Officer
Current• Oversee and communicate ethical goals and principles for the Compliance and Ethics Program to ensure compliance of laws, policies, guidelines and regulations• Conduct proactive risk assessments and compliance reviews to identify areas of compliance vulnerability • Develop and implement corrective action plans for timely mitigation of compliance and operational risk areas • Facilitate trainings for new employees, attorneys, managers and staff to promote a culture of risk management and ensure compliance of internal regulations and external laws• Evaluate, investigate and resolve compliance issues and concerns with the goal of protecting assets, mitigating sanctions and limiting exposure to the company • Streamline uniform system for reporting and handling of compliance violations to ensure consistency, fairness and eliminate fear of retaliation• Plan, implement and evaluate employee relations and personnel functions to ensure a positive workplace culture and adhere to complex employment laws• Prepare and process Payroll through Intuit and QuickBooks Online to include employee compensation and tax reconciliation
