My duties include daily monitoring of bank accounts, reconciliations and booking revenue from site lodging rental software. I am responsible for payroll and all subsequent responsibilities attached to payroll such as federal and state filing of payroll taxes, health insurance premiums, Simple IRA contributions, and W2s. I ensure proper recording of expenses and income in five separate entities and compile financial statements. I am responsible for computing and paying sales tax, use tax and lodging tax in five states. I perform credit card reconciliation, review and pay invoices, and track and issue 1099s.

My duties included processing purchase orders, writing checks, sorting and distributing office mail, sorting and distributing invoices, reconciling cash drawer and making daily deposit, and tracking, distributing and reconciling corporate credit cards. I was responsible for maintaining records of all payments made by the University. I reconciled several bank and investment accounts, bond accounts, real estate depreciation and income accounts, miscellaneous receivables, cell phone accounts and corporate credit cards. I managed payment of University Loan Grants. I calculated and filed sales tax reports with the Department of Revenue. I assisted faculty, staff and students with their budget and/or fundraising accounts and assisted with counseling students regarding their agency accounts. I also performed accounting services at the Dakota Discovery Museum including reconciling cash register, making deposits, writing checks, payroll, reconciling accounts, calculating and paying sales tax, filing monthly and quarterly payroll reports.

My duties included hiring, training and managing students to call alumni to ask for donations. I was in charge of direct mail fund-raising and the faculty-staff fundraising campaign. I was also responsible for managing the scholarship database, act as liaison between scholarship donors and student recipients, and create annual reports for scholarship donors. I tracked the office budget, process the department bills, assist with alumni events and Board of Trustee meetings and perform research on foundations and prospective donors.

While working for MVTechnologies, Inc., I was mainly responsible for conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, asbestos surveys, and wastewater monitoring. I also wrote SPCC Plans, Title V Work Plans, SWP3 Plans, and NEPA Assessments. I have conducted numerous Environmental Assessments and Statutory Reviews per the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Guidelines and Environmental Site Assessment Screens and Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments per the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Guidelines. In order to perform the aforementioned work, I was required to develop and maintain client relations, write proposals, meet strict deadlines, and ensure all duties were accurately invoiced. I also had to coordinate with local, state and Federal agencies in order to obtain information or determine specific guidelines for a particular project or client.

I managed the Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessment department and provided senior technical review company wide. I was also responsible for management of the “On-Call Services Contract” with the University of Kansas, which required frequent communication regarding numerous jobs involving various employees. Other job responsibilities included providing assistance in asbestos and lead-based paint surveys, groundwater monitoring, storm water and wastewater sampling, RCRA Compliance audits, Title V air permitting, and TRIS Reporting. While performing this work, I maintained client relations, wrote proposals, ensured employees in the department performed their duties and met their deadlines, and invoiced all work for the department. Some large projects required coordination with other departments and other offices.

While working for Jacobs Engineering Group, I participated in HRS Scoring of hazardous waste sites located in Missouri and conducted validation studies on freezers, refrigerators, and incubators. I was required to program monitoring computers to perform the validation studies and coordinate with various departments to schedule the studies so as not to interfere with production.
