Traci Powell is dual board certified as a neonatal and psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner. She is an internationally Certified Trauma Treatment Specialist, public speaker, author, trauma education consultant, and an unshakable force dedicated to helping adult survivors of trauma and abuse return to their authentic selves and step into their wholeness.Traci has been in nursing for almost 30 years. First as a bedside nurse, then as a neonatal nurse practitioner, but after doing much of her own personal healing work, Traci stepped into her true calling as a mental health provider and now has her own private practice where she specializes in helping women and healthcare professionals who live with PTSD, depression, and anxiety find radical healing and transformation in a highly personalized 3-day intensive therapy format. In response to growing suicide rates and worsening mental health among nurses, Traci founded Nurses Healing Nurses, an organization whose mission is to give nurses a safe space to talk about hard things and receive the help and support they need through education, therapy, coaching, community, and live events. As Chief Mental Health and Wellness Officer for the Clinician Burnout Foundation, Traci works to create and support transformative and innovative methods for beating burnout among healthcare workers.Traci’s book collaboration, Letters to a Future Nurse, was released in December 2022.
