Fashion designer Giorgio Armani said “To create something exceptional, your mindset must be relentlessly focused on the smallest detail.” I am not a fashion designer, but I do create and manage exceptional events by focusing on both the big picture and the smallest details. This ability to balance creative vision while still focusing on the details and proactively identifying obstacles is what I believe makes me a successful event manager.I have been in this industry for more than 15 years and have been working with big name clients such as the L.A. County Fairplex, the NHRA drag races and some of the biggest names in music festivals attended by up to 120K people. However, I have also planned corporate recognition events, university alumni events, graduations and welcome ceremonies as well as non-profit fundraisers and galas. The common thread that runs through all of the events that I have managed is my ability to translate my client’s vision into reality, while following their budget parameters and aligning with their needs and their company’s brand.I am dedicated to building client relationships, many of which have followed me for most of my career. When I was located in California, the L.A. County Fairplex hand-selected me to plan and run 80% of the events that they held at their complex. In fact, I was often brought in to sell their venue and help their new and existing clients to best utilize the fairgrounds. No event is too big or too small. Whether I am planning events for the President of the United States, a fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish foundation or setting up the Certified Financial Analyst certification tests, I treat each client with respect, attentive support and responsive follow up. I am dedicated to ensuring every client feels as though their event is the most important event I am working and ensure they know that I will take care of all the details so they can simply enjoy the event.
