I founded TAP in 2011 to dedicate myself to a detail-oriented planning process for programs that are student-centered, creating a collaborating support system of artists and families. Current goals are to form a 501C3 non-profit and have a permanent home. Through public and private grants and funding, we hope to expand our touch to every child who wants to participate. We funnel our resources into paying for professional instruction and supplies, never turning away anyone who needs us. We teach theatrical, vocal and physical techniques in a fun, nurturing environment; which fosters a respect for the arts and a positive, professional attitude. We believe in theatre education as a force for a better world. Children who participate in theatre learn to use their voices and bodies properly and feel more comfortable in their own skin. They gain confidence, helping them not only as performers, but in every aspect of life. Studies show that creative projects and hands-on learning can hone skills in literacy, math, history, science, public speaking, memorization, and research better than traditional programs. Students feel safe and confident expressing emotions while learning about discipline, commitment, teamwork, and taking pride in and ownership of their work. By becoming members of an ensemble, they gain a sense of belonging and are less fearful to stretch themselves creatively and emotionally. We meet each student where they are to support and encourage the leaders of tomorrow. Top educators are dedicated to the betterment of our community through enrichment designed to uplift and empower our youth to become more successful people. We specialize in Musical Theatre, but offer workshops, both privately and in-school that can supplement any curriculum and work towards any goal. We can teach general arts education, or classes specific to theatre, music, dance, creative writing, public speaking and visual arts, either performance based or strictly educational.

She has dedicated her life to helping people express themselves creatively and sees placing people in the comfortable home of their dreams as a natural extension of that work.

Lessons with Traci can be valuable to those hoping to perform on stage, or anyone wanting to boost confidence and have greater poise and presence in everything they do. We teach basic vocal technique: strength and resonance, breathing and tone, diction and pitch. More importantly we work on presentation: understanding WHAT you are saying (or singing) and WHY. Anyone can learn to sing or speak with strength and confidence. The performers who really WOW an audience have that extra “something” which comes from working on your emotional life: how do you feel, who are you talking to and what do you want? We can work on general material, or prepare for a specific performance, audition or presentation. Virtual or in-person in studio individual lessons $100/hour In-person individual lessons in a location you choose in the Greater NYC area: $125/hour Summer special: Lock in a $75/hour rate for the rest of 2021$150 non-refundable deposit for the first two hours of lessons must be paid in full by 8/31/21 and those two lessons taken within 30 days of purchase.
