I supervise 27 pharmacies and have direct oversight of 300 pharmacy employees, including pharmacists, technicians, and clerks. I oversee all functions of my assigned pharmacies and ensure that each one complies with company policies and procedures. I help manage pharmacy operations to achieve operational objectives and profit goals. In addition, as the senior ranking Pharmacy Zone Manager, I am frequently asked to provide insight and input on issues that influence and impact the nearly 1200 pharmacy employees. I am directly responsible for setting budgets and goals for the stores in my zone, and am accountable for the performance of the pharmacy managers in those locations. I recruit from multiple schools of pharmacy, always in search of talent. I am also charged with hiring and training personnel, monitoring and evaluating performance and handling disciplinary actions.
