St. Mary’s Nursery School (SMNS) is a non-profit cooperative early child care and school age center, founded in 1964. SMNS provides education for children from 18 months to 12 years. SMNS is dedicated to the development of young children and to cultivating meaningful relationships with our community. We provide full time care for toddlers and preschoolers, as well as after school programming to school age children during the school year. We offer a robust summer program for our toddlers, preschoolers, and our school age children.

Researched leaders in fields of health, healing, holistic health, yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and education. Negotiated contracts for individual workshops, and created multifaculty events with leaders around topics relevant to the field, such as The Women of Yoga weekend retreat, Memoir Festival, Arts Week, Poetry Weekend, Mindfulness in Education, and Arts and Writing.
