• Worked closely with Executive Editor and wider team of editors, sales, marketing, print web/production, and project management to plan and direct all content for the peer-reviewed ONCOLOGY journal and its sister website, CancerNetwork.com, including review articles, news, slideshows, case studies, podcasts, videos, and presentations. • Edited a high volume of long-form review articles, news, emails, and other forms of content for grammar, flow, and AMA and house style and posted content to content management system. Updated content on various website verticals.• Communicated with authors to shepherd content and edits through the complete manuscript process from conceptualization of the topic idea to peer review and editing to publication in the print issue to posting online according to strict publication timelines.• Strategized about new content offerings/partnerships in conjunction with team and physician Editorial Board.• Analyzed performance of website using Google Analytics and Omniture to inform content decisions.• Attended live medical meetings such as ASCO and ASH to represent the brand and edit/post breaking conference coverage to website.

• Acted as the go-to voice for all day-to-day editorial responsibilities for myCME.com, including editing and/or proofreading all CME activities posted to the site as well as weekly editorial newsletters, landing pages, and select marketing materials for print and online. • Managed the myCME.com website - including rotators and other website components, made key editorial decisions on posted programs, developed/edited content, built traffic, developed editorial newsletters, added resources, and implemented strategic initiatives. • Directed the digital production of a high volume of client and internal activities on the website, including management of 1 direct report. • Worked closely with educational partners and wider myCME team on CME content collaborations, including with the Rutgers University Physician Assistant Program, Nurse Practitioner Associates for Continuing Education, Oakstone Publishing, American College of Cardiology, and others.• Wrote certified and non-certified content to build traffic to website, such as This Week’s Buzz for PAs, a weekly round-up of news relevant to physician assistants and Drug Briefs, a monthly CME/CE activity series to educate clinicians about newly approved drugs. Also wrote select copy for various individual CME activities, CME activity landing pages, and marketing materials.

Acted as the go-to voice for all things day-to-day myCME editorial, including managing rotators and other website components, making key editorial decisions on posted programs, developing/editing content, building traffic, developing editorial newsletters, adding resources, and implementing strategic initiatives. myCME is an online source of continuing medical education and other educational initiatives for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

My role at myCME included uploading and formatting all website content, producing e-newsletters, maintaining and updating the website, writing and editing copy as needed, providing editorial feedback on projects, and editing full length CME/CE activities as well as coordinating/recruiting authors.

I began at Haymarket in June 2010 as the joint Associate Editor of Oncology Nurse Advisor and the Journal of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (JAAPA), where I was responsible for editing manuscripts and working with authors from start to finish of the editing process through publication. From there, I had a brief stint in print production before being promoted to Web Editor of these publications. After successfully managing two websites, I moved on to become the sole Web Editor of CancerTherapyAdvisor.com.● Act as gatekeeper of website by:-Posting content regularly throughout the day, including feature articles, news, slideshows, and videos-Ensuring all pages are up to date and relevant-Building new site pages and sections via company content management system● Maintain all social media communities to increase reader engagement and interaction (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, Youtube)● Create and edit eye-catching daily newsletters to market content to healthcare professionals● Edit full-length features, news articles, and blogs and assist with finding relevant artwork● Analyze website and newsletter statistics using Omniture and communicate results with team to target best performing content● Helped manage conference coverage by reporting live from major medical conferences (writing, editing, attending sessions), filming videos, posting content, managing social media, and posting articles● Played a key role in complete redesign of two websites and planning/reviewing of content for two mobile apps for iOS and Android.
