CEO and principal with MSR Design, Traci uses design as a tool for positive change for her clients and their communities. Her work equally values human wellbeing, building performance, aesthetics, and delight. Recent projects Traci led as principal include Haverford College's award-winning Visual Culture Arts & Media (VCAM) adaptive reuse project and Missoula's new public library and culture house—the first building in North America to be named IFLA/Systematic Public Library of the Year.Traci has made a name for herself as an inspiring designer and speaker, presenting workshops and discussions internationally on design. Recent workshops include Next Library and IFLA events in Berlin, Aarhus, and Rome about design for inclusion, a workshop about using library buildings to support the Sustainable Development Goals, and a keynote in Brisbane about the role of the built environment in creating resilient communities. She is a regular contributor to New Library World, Library Journal and the IFLA Journals.Traci serves co-chair for the American Library Association's Buildings & Operations Section, and on the Standing Committee of the International Federation of Library Associations Library Buildings and Equipment Section. She is also member of the AIA Minnesota Community of Practice for Culture Change.
