I lead the Creative Services team in the Marketing and Communications department at the university. Our team includes four designers and one writer, and they design, write and produce the institutional marketing for UMSL, as well as partnering with the colleges, departments and units within the university. We develop the look and feel, and lead the execution of the recently-established brand in print, outdoor and digital space, elevating the university's presence in the region and beyond.• Serve as primary point of contact for inquiries and requests related to creative projects.• Assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of creative projects.• Maintain project timelines, deadlines, and milestones.• Track project progress and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.• Help identify potential roadblocks and propose solutions to keep projects on track.• Develop and implement resource allocation strategies to match the right creative talent with the right projects based on skills, availability, and project requirements.• Maintain a comprehensive view of the organization’s internal and external creative talent.• Implement and maintain project management tools and software to facilitate better workflow management.• Foster effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including creatives, marketers, and clients.• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and creative requirements. • Schedule and facilitate meetings, reviews, and presentations as required.• Perform quality checks on creative deliverables to ensure they meet brand standards and project requirements.• Manage approvals and maintain associated records for internal compliance requirements.

Home Sweet Home is a furniture & home furnishing bank in the St. Louis community, the first of its kind. Work directly with the creative team and business partners to strategize and concept solutions for internal and external Boeing projects. Develop client list throughout Boeing, working with Directors and Communications Leadership, as well as specific product teams.Manage the process from initiation with client, through strategy and concepts; develop project briefs and scope of work statements; create timeline and estimates; identify the creative team; maintain contact with the client and initiate meetings and reviews; manage production and launch of final deliverable.Work along creative team to develop concepts and oversee design along with the Creative Director.

• Lead new and existing projects at Falk Harrison, a leader in branding and design for more than 40 years. • Re-branded multiple clients, including a large community health care system. • Designed annual reports for multi-million dollar entities, as well as highly-regarded non profits.• Balanced hands on design and creative thinking, with engaging with clients; fostering on-going relationships with vendors; managing account timelines and budgets; supervising several junior designers; and facilitating many projects from start to finish.

Taught two studio courses per semester, with a range of 15 to 22 students per class. Developed course description and syllabi while teaching Communication Design elective courses, open to all majors and levels within the University.
